Join us this winter as we gear up for our 6th LONG AWAITED Year of Futsal action.    

The next generation of Futsal, in the United States, lies within our youth.  YTP Futsal Academy provides players (Boys/Girls), ages 8-17, the opportunity to develop, progress, and strengthen one’s athletic skills while enjoying the fun of Futsal.  We have extensive experience encouraging and coaching children of all ages by not only valuing each individual as a person and player, but by allowing each child the freedom to express oneself while committing to long term development.  

Our goal is to help each child hone Futsal skills in order to shape a successful pathway for advancement from a youth to pro.  

 Program Details:   

Located at Germantown Academy    

Begins on January 7th and ends on March 4th (no session 2/4)

Training Days are Saturdays, one hour sessions, 3pm-8pm (time slot based on age)

Team and player introductory rate runs until November 

$200/player

$2250/ team registration

Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small sided football game that originated from South America in the 1930's. It is widely played across the world and is a small sided football format that is officially recognized by both UEFA and FIFA. 

Futsal began in Uruguay and Brazil where the large crowded cities and a shortage of playing pitches forced a football mad populace to play small sided football, and in 1936 the first rules emerged. Futsal was thew name chosen by FIFA, which is simply a combination of the Spanish words for "hall" (Sala) and "football" (Futbol): hence Futsal, literally translated to mean "indoor football"

The nature of the game provides an excellent breeding ground for football competencies that can be translated into the 11-a-side format of the game. Many of the Premier League, and worlds most recognizable football players have a background playing Futsal and credit it with supporting their footballing development. Professional footballers including Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Pele, Cesc Fabregas, Xavi, Iniesta amongst many more who benefitted from Futsal in their youth.

As well as the valuable role Futsal plays as a development tool for football, Futsal is unquestionably a popular and enthralling sport in its own right. The YTP Futsal Academy attracts players from all around the Montgomery, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties providing the opportunity to study and excel in one of the worlds fastest growing sports.
